What the numbers mean
- Active product: a listing marked active in Cartura’s catalog. A listing is marked inactive when its shop no longer shows it or the shop is found empty, and it then leaves the count.
- Active seller: a shop marked active in Cartura’s catalog. A shop is marked inactive when Cartura finds it empty or can no longer reach it.
- Category: a node of the TikTok Shop category tree. The category count includes every level of the tree; the level-one categories are its top level.
- Week: a Monday-start week (UTC) of the weekly price distribution. The weeks count is the number of distinct weeks with a price distribution in US dollars.
- Currency: every price is in US dollars.
- Level-one table: a category’s active listings are the active products anywhere in its subtree. Its median price and middle 50% of prices (the 25th to the 75th percentile) come from the newest week’s price distribution, in which each listing counts once for every unit sold since its previous observation, and at least once.
A worked example
Fashion Accessories, the largest category, has 206,613 active listings; its median price in the week of 19 October 2026 was $14.72.
How often this refreshes
The numbers on this page regenerate daily, and whenever Cartura’s catalog is refreshed. The weekly price distributions are built once a week, after each week ends.
What this is not
These are not TikTok’s own figures. They are Cartura’s observations of public listings on TikTok Shop, and they cover the US TikTok Shop only. Estimated GMV figures elsewhere on the site are a listing’s weekly sales pace times its latest sale price, not revenue reported by TikTok Shop.
