Cartura

Terms of service

Last updated 5 October 2026

Welcome to Cartura. By accessing or using the Cartura website, platform and related services (together, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). The Terms are a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or the “User”) and Cartura Technologies LLC (“Cartura”, “we”, “us”).

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation and to bind it to these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into the Terms by reference.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Services.

2. Your account

Signing in

Cartura accounts are tied to an email address. We do not use passwords: you sign in by requesting a one-time link that we send to your email address. Anyone with access to that inbox can access your Cartura account, so you are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Sign-in links expire and must not be shared.

Account information

  • You must provide accurate and current information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • Each account is for one person. You may not share your account, let anyone else sign in with your email address, or create accounts by automated means.
  • If you pay for a subscription, the person or organisation whose payment method is charged is the account owner and is responsible for all activity under the account.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for loss caused by your failure to keep your email account or sign-in links secure.

3. The Services

Cartura is a product-research platform for sellers on TikTok Shop. The Services include trending-product discovery, category insights, product analysis (“scans”) that compare a product against similar products and category pricing, rankings of best-selling products and sellers, product price and sales history, profit scenarios, and saved products. The features available to you depend on your plan.

We may change, add to, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Where a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will try to give you reasonable notice. If you do not agree with a change, your remedy is to stop using the Services or cancel your subscription; continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it.

4. Platform data

The product, seller, category, pricing, sales and other data shown in the Services (the “Platform Data”) is derived from publicly available information on TikTok Shop and other marketplaces, from third-party sources, and from Cartura’s own aggregation, analysis and modelling. Figures such as sales volumes, revenue, price history and profit scenarios are estimates. They may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and they are not advice.

You may use Platform Data for your own lawful business research and decision-making. You may not:

  • download, scrape, export or copy Platform Data in bulk, whether manually or by automated means;
  • sell, license, share or redistribute Platform Data to third parties;
  • use Platform Data to build, train, operate or support a product or service that competes with Cartura;
  • publicly republish substantial portions of Platform Data, including in reports, websites, apps or media, without our written consent.

You must take reasonable steps to protect your account and any data you obtain through the Services from unauthorised access or misuse.

5. Plans and usage limits

We offer a Free plan and paid plans (currently Starter and Pro). Each plan carries usage limits, such as the number of scans per day, the number of similar products shown per scan, the depth of history available, and the number of products you can save. The current plans, prices and limits are set out on our pricing page and may change over time.

Usage limits are per account. You may not create or use multiple accounts, or otherwise circumvent limits, to obtain more usage than your plan allows. We may apply rate limits or temporarily throttle usage to protect the Services for all users.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, as you choose at checkout. Prices are shown on the pricing page; applicable taxes may be added.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. You must provide a valid payment method and keep it current. We do not store your full card details.
  • By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the start of your subscription and automatically at the start of each renewal period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
  • If a payment fails, we may retry it and, if it remains unpaid, downgrade your account to the Free plan or suspend access to paid features until payment is made.

Changing plans

  • Upgrades (to a higher plan, or from monthly to yearly billing) take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period.
  • Downgrades (to a lower plan, or from yearly to monthly billing) take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your existing plan until then.

Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; your paid plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not issue refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, unused scans or other unused features.

Price changes

We may change plan prices or features. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price increase affecting your subscription, by email or within the Services, before it applies at your next renewal. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

7. Licence and intellectual property

Your licence to use the Services

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your own internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer or otherwise exploit the Services or any part of them except as expressly permitted in writing by us.

Ownership

The Services — including the software, design, text, graphics, logos, data compilations, analytics, models and documentation — are owned by Cartura or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. “Cartura” and the Cartura logo are our marks; nothing in these Terms gives you a right to use them.

Your inputs

You retain any rights you have in the information you submit to the Services, such as product links and the products you save. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that information as needed to provide, maintain and improve the Services, and you confirm that submitting it does not breach any law or third-party right.

8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to do, or help anyone else do, any of the following:

  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these Terms or any applicable law;
  • infringe or misappropriate the rights of Cartura or any third party;
  • upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data;
  • access the Services by automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers or scripts) or in a way that burdens or disrupts our infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Services, or circumvent any security, access control or usage limit;
  • share, sell or transfer your account or sign-in links;
  • collect or store personal data about other people without authorisation;
  • resell, license or commercialise the Services or Platform Data without our written consent.

9. Privacy and data

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services or as permitted by law. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may retain some information where required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

10. Third-party platforms

Cartura is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress or any other marketplace or platform whose publicly available information appears in the Services. Their names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND PLATFORM DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT PLATFORM DATA WILL BE COMPLETE, CURRENT OR ACCURATE.

The metrics, estimates, rankings, profit scenarios and other insights in the Services are provided for information only. They are not financial, legal or business advice, and we do not guarantee any outcome, such as sales, profits or sourcing costs, from relying on them. You rely on the Services at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARTURA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT WILL CARTURA’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR US $10 IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Cartura and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services or Platform Data, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any information you submit through the Services.

14. Termination

  • By you. You may stop using the Services at any time and may cancel your subscription or ask us to delete your account as described above.
  • By us. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or if required by law. We may also discontinue the Services on reasonable notice.
  • Effect. On termination your licence to use the Services ends immediately. Amounts already due remain payable. We are not liable for any suspension or termination made in accordance with these Terms, or for deletion of your data after termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any proceedings will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of those courts, except that consumers may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence where applicable law so provides.

16. General

  • Changes to the Terms. We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice in the Services, and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party platforms, hosting or network providers, cyberattacks, natural disasters or government action.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan details presented at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and Cartura about the Services and supersede any prior agreements. A waiver of any provision must be in writing.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.
  • Notices and electronic communications. We may notify you by email to the address on your account or by posting within the Services, and you consent to receive account and legal notices electronically. You can contact us at [email protected].
  • Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 4, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 — will continue to apply.
